Pocket Gamer's APPNATION Afterparty plays host to hundreds
| AppNation news

After days of compelling programming at the APPNATION V conference in San Francisco, the mobile glitterati made their way to Pocket Gamer's afterparty for an evening of good cheer and epic prizes.

Sponsors Everyplay and PapayaMobile delighted guests with a drawing that had the crowd offering to jump out of helicopters off snowy mountains to capture footage.

At least that's what heliskier Hayley Melidonis, VP revenue & partnerships at Race Yourself, promised to do with her Go Pro prize from AppFlood. James Peng, UA & monetisation lead at Storm8 was the lucky winner of Everyplay's Nexus 7.

Music and monetisation

A packed house enjoyed beats by DJ R3Y and sharing insights from the conference, which featured a Masters of Monetisation panel hosted by Pocket Gamer's US events editor, Martine Paris.

Also on board was Glu Mobile's president of publishing, Chris Akhavan, Playfirst's VP of marketing & product management, Becky Ann Hughes, SGN's VP Games Jill Schneiderman, and WildTangent's Director of Business Development, Brett Orlanski.

You can view all the fun that was had in the PGbiz photo galleries here and here. Many thanks to PG volunteers Jon Malloy & Sebastian Valle as well as Charmaine Morena for many of the snaps.
