Apparently, some game called 'Angry Birds' was released on 3DS in the US today
Flying into the UK on Friday
So, there's this game called 'Angry Birds' - not sure if you've heard of it. According to a couple of my PG chums, you fling birds at pigs or something like that. Sounds ridiculous. It'll never catch on.
Apparently, Angry Birds developer Rovio has made enough cash from the sale of said bird flinging game on iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and various other platforms to port it across to the Nintendo 3DS.
Angry Birds Trilogy for 3DS, Xbox 360, and PS3 is, essentially, an ultimate collector's edition, bringing Angry Birds, Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Rio together in one neat package. (These are the first three entries in the avian-flinging franchise, I'm reliably informed.)
Pig outIncluded in the 3DS version of this brand-new compilation of games are a fresh collection of bird biographies; concept art and character sketches; extra bonus content; and on-the-go StreetPass challenges.
You might want to grab this collection soon, as I honestly can't see this series gaining any traction... oh, there's already a sequel and a spin-off title? Oh.
Man, people will buy anything these days, huh. Angry Birds Trilogy is $29.99 on 3DS, by the way.
