Against War, Asobimo Inc's real-time strategy game, launches later this year
Asobimo Inc has been working on the upcoming game Project-AGW for a while now. Since we’re closing in on its launch, the developers have finally revealed the title for the game as Project-AGW was only a working one. The game will be officially called Against War and it features real-time strategy elements.
Against War, contrary to its name, pits players from all over the globe against each other. Players can bring their own artillery to battle in the form of siege hammers, trebuchets, siege towers, and other siege weapons. The goal is to come up with the perfect strategy for demolishing enemy castles.
Of course, you can’t just go bang bang and win. Conquests are won by employing the right strategies. If players want to win, they must lower the morale of the opponent troops while maintaining their own. This can be done by destroying enemy structures and defeating opposing soldiers.
In addition to this, special talent cards provide an added kick to the game. There are over 100 unique cards that can be combined to create an all-powerful deck that will obliterate anyone that comes in the way.
Currently, Against War will be soft launching in four countries, namely, Canada, New Zealand, India, and Indonesia. It has no particular launch date but we do know that it will release sometime this year.
You can pre-register for Against War on Google Play if you belong to one of those regions. It will be free-to-play with an option for in-app purchases. No news of it showing up on the App Store just yet.
