Inkle's epic globe-trotting adventure 80 Days is making its way to Steam, expanded with more content and graphical upgrades.

The expanded PC version will include "thirty new cities, over 150k words, and two major new world-spanning plotlines."

Inkle has rebuilt the game in Unity for desktop, allowing for new visual touches such as a new UI, animated text reveals, and "a day/night cycle that moves across the surface of the globe."

We gave 80 Days a Gold Award, calling it "rich with ideas, brilliantly written", with "a world that you'll want to visit over and over again."

Inkle hasn't stated whether the mobile version will be updated with the new content, but we'll let you know as more information becomes available.

80 Days will cost £6.99 / $9.99 when it comes to Steam on September 29th. In the meantime, you can purchase the game on iOS and Google Play.
