Squash a worm with a Concrete Donkey in Worms 2: Armageddon for Android

If you've been eager to get your Android-loving hands on Worms 2: Armageddon ever since we told you it was on its way to Google's mobile OS, you'll be pleased to read that Team17 has finally launched it on Google Play.

Your aim in Worms 2: Armageddon - much like it is in every Worms title - is to blast your opponents to smithereens using Banana Bombs, Concrete Donkeys, and a variety of other increasingly ridiculous weapons.

You can get your worm-blasting rocks off in 30 action-packed single-player missions; 12 weird and wonderful game modes; and plenty of fierce multiplayer bouts.

Multiplayer battles take place over wi-fi or on a single device, incidentally.

At review, we gave the iPhone and iPad version of Worms 2: Armageddon a shiny Silver Award, and noted that it represented "a significant improvement" over Team17's original iOS Worms release.

Oh, and, yes, you can customise your worms in this edition. Happy? Good.

You can grab Worms 2: Armageddon from Google Play right now for £2.99 / $4.99. A Kindle Fire HD-compatible version is now available, too.
