World of Warships: Blitz gets new limited-time mode and French destroyers in update 8.2

- World of Warships: Blitz is getting a new update with quality-of-life and UX improvements
- There's also a new limited-time mode called Turbo Strike
- And three new ships for the French navy in early access!
While the big news amongst Wargaming fans will likely be the upcoming appearance of the King Tiger at Tankfest 2025, for those of you playing on mobile, there's a new swathe of content to enjoy in World of Warships: Blitz. That includes a limited-time mode and some much-anticipated love for the French navy!
To start with, that limited-time mode, Turbo Strike, challenges you with a new fast-paced take on the classic domination gameplay. You'll enjoy new ship enhancements and power-ups exclusive to this mode. While unlimited respawns mean that the action doesn't stop until one team finally reigns supreme.
Fortunately, if you're all about egalité, liberté and fraternité, you'll be glad to know the French navy is getting some new additions in early access. Three new ships have been added, built for stealth and speed. The Tier V L’Adroit, Tier VII Hardi and Tier IX Orage include brand new variable torpedoes, and close-quarters combat capabilities that allow you to deal max damage from up to 6km and 60% from up to 12km away.

Well, at least that's close-quarters in terms of naval engagements.
