What the Clash? takes the What the Golf? makers ideas way too far, coming to Apple Arcade soon
It's tennis, with no mercy

- What the Golf? What the Car? And now, What the Clash?
- Yes, the mad geniuses at Triband are at it again
- Take on a pal (for now) in various 1v1 minigames
When it comes to comedy releases, Triband is a studio that has had quite the run. Be it What the Golf? or What the Car? this developer is always looking for new and interesting twists on every genre imaginable. It's little surprise then that competitive 1v1 multiplayer is their next target.
The core concept of What the Clash? is simple. It's a minigame collection, akin to something like Mario Party. You take on another player in everything from table tennis (with a mechanical twist) to snowboarding. You can climb the leaderboards and even compete in tournaments. Now, that all sounds a little too normal for Triband, I realise.
This is where the twist comes in because you're playing a hand. Yes, a hand with a body. And the physics-based goofiness that ensues in trying to control them makes these minigames even more challenging, and the results even more hilarious. Add onto that a mixture of modifiers that can turn regular Archery into Toasy Archery, and things are guaranteed to be anything but normal.

Arriving on May 1st, What the Clash? is a genuinely fun-looking new addition to the What the...? saga. However, if you're hoping to play it on Android, or on regular iOS then you might be a bit disappointed. Because much like Triband's previous releases What the Clash? is set to be an Apple Arcade exclusive.
But, for what it's worth I'm sure for many of you this is sure to be something that sways you to give the jam-packed Apple gaming subscription service a go!
