Stylish physics puzzler Trick Shot drops to £0.79 / $0.99

Trick Shot caught our attention due to the pedigree of its artist (ustwo's Jonathan Topf) and minimalist style, but it was the game's varied obstacles and challenges that earned it a Bronze Award last year. The puzzler is currently available on the App Store for £0.79 / $0.99.

Trick Shot's gameplay revolves around launching a ball Angry Birds-style to bounce and ricochet into a waiting box. That task would be much simpler without the array of barriers and obstacles between ball and box.

Portals, fans, walls, and other objects force you to aim and time your shots, although an element of trial and error can frustrate in some of the more challenging levels.
