Extreme baseball, anyone?

Tribe Nine pre-downloads are now open, so there's no excuse not to dive into this Danganronpa-esque RPG
  • You can now pre-download Tribe Nine ahead of the launch
  • Expect a twisted story and action-packed combat
  • More rewards to come

Akatsuki Games Inc. has officially announced that pre-downloads for Tribe Nine are now open, so you can get first dibs on the single-player RPG ahead of its launch on the 20th. Of course, you'll still have to wait for when the servers officially go live, but I suppose it's a different feeling altogether when an action-packed experience you're looking forward to is already on your phone, isn't it?

Tribe Nine is very much about a twisted game of life and death - something you can expect from the Danganronpa-esque visuals and concept. The dystopian world of Neo Tokyo is your playground, and as you can probably expect, another masked figure is pulling the strings behind the scenes (and he's named "Zero" too - coincidence? I think not).

The stakes are high and the action is intense, as you dive into three-person team battles to survive this dog-eat-dog world. There's a Monokuma-looking creature in here too, it seems, so I think it's safe to say that the narrative will be very much front and centre here as well, especially given the brutal twists and turns this "extreme baseball"-themed RPG will have.

Of course, there are plenty of mini-games and little requests you can take on from the locals too, just to make sure you can still take a breather despite all the death and destruction.

In the meantime, if you're eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking out Tribe Nine on the App Store and on Google Play. It's free-to-play with in-app purchases.

You can also join the community of followers on the official Twitter page to stay updated on all the latest developments, visit the official website for more info, or take a little peek at the embedded clip above to get a feel of the vibes and visuals.
