Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 coming to DS this Summer
Scrub in for more GUILT-infested fun
After a three year sabbatical, Dr Stiles of Trauma Center: Under the Knife, is back for a second round of melodrama and frantic stylus-based surgery. Under the Knife 2 will feature the alternately chastising and adoring Nurse Angie Thompson from the first game, and the pair will deal once again with the effects of the revolting GUILT virus.
Developer Atlus – who also produced the first game - hasn't announced any new surgical instruments, so it doesn't look like there's going to be any. Instead, those it contains will have 'improved functionality'.
The game will also be easier than Under the Knife, containing a second mode for those not naturally endowed with surgical prowess, reports DS Fanboy.
So, same characters, same disease, same title, and no new instruments. For a game that's had almost three years to gestate it doesn't look to be a major rebirth for the franchise. Under the Knife 2 is due out this summer, whereupon we'll set to work with our critical drills and scalpels.
