As part of a new promotion, developer of the hit iPhone game Toy Bot Diaries, IUGO Mobile, is offering a grand prize of $10,000 to the first (US based) gamer to collect up 75 items from within all three games.

The competition requires players to find 25 datapads within each of the three Toy Bot Diaries games using the same iPhone or iPod touch, then to email in their results from the same device. The competition begins today, and runs until March 16th when the winner will be announced.

“The Toy Bot Diaries series has been a big hit on Apple’s App Store, so we wanted to go the extra mile and give back to the people who play our games,” said IUGO’s business development executive Sarah Thomson. “This promotion highlights IUGO’s desire to create a unique, fun experience for our players.”

Ten runners up will each receive a $100 iTunes voucher, while one third prize winner will be given free copies of all future IUGO iPhone games – a pretty sterling prize, considering each of the Toy Bot Diaries games won a Silver Award over on our sister site Pocket Gamer.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
