The Symbian client for mobile MMORPG TibiaME has just received a graphical overhaul that adds high resolution graphics and completely redrawn artwork.

TibiaME was the first MMORPG available for Java and Symbian phones, and is currently played by over 50,000 regular active players.

Available only on Series 60v5 handsets, this new client also supports full touchscreen controls and allows for both landscape and portrait play. Older versions of Symbian such as the S60v3 will receive a similar update in the near future.

Cipsoft also revealed that it plans to submit the iPhone version to Apple at the beginning of September. This version will be similar to the previous clients in that it will be free to play for a vast amount of the game, but will use in-app purchasing to get access to aspects enjoyed by subscribers of the mobile versions.
