If you haven't yet played This War of Mine, now's a great time to grab it, as the title is on sale for $1.99/£1.99 on the App Store and $3.99/£2.19 on the Play Store.
You're tasked with helping a group of civilians survive in a besieged city, working during the day and scavenging at night. You'll face a range of obstacles, whether from bombardments, other survivors, or just making it through another day. In order to survive, you'll need to make tough, sometimes heart-wrenching choices.
The game also features an expansion, titled The Little Ones, which tasks you with protecting not only a group of adults, but also children, and being a caretaker in their time of need.
It's a haunting experience, and one well worth your time, especially on sale. Our original review of the game gave it a gold award, calling it "a harrowing and often tragic exploration of life in a war. This is a must buy."
