Love comes to town in The Simpson: Tapped Out Valentine's Day update

I choo-choo-choose you!

Love comes to town in The Simpson: Tapped Out Valentine's Day update

It's nearly Valentine's Day (crap, is it nearly Valentine's Day?), and things are about to get sentimental in Springfield, courtesy of the new love-themed update for The Simpsons: Tapped Out.

So, put on some Barry White, scatter some rose petals around your iPad dock, and get ready to help Bart - and other Springfieldians - find a soul mate in a series of romantic new quests.

Of course, if you're planning on hooking up, you'll need a venue.

Luckily, The Simpsons: Tapped Out now has a host of new locations - including Sir Putt-A-Lotts crazy golf course and Phineas Q. Butterfat's calorie-crammed restaurant - for you to build and utilise.

Next on the Valentine's checklist: a valentine. The Simpsons: Tapped Out has you covered here, too, with EA adding a bunch of new characters for the game's colourful cast to cuddle up to.

You can even send Valentine's Day cards to other players, and make Springfield look all purdy for incoming visitors with rose bushes and cherubs and stuff.

Prove yourself a virtual lothario, and you'll accumulate Heart currency. Spend it quick, though, as all these Valentine's bonuses are only available for a short time.

You know what they say: love is fleeting.

You can download The Simpsons: Tapped Out from the App Store for free right now.
