Celebrate St Patrick's Day in The Simpsons: Tapped Out by heading down to your local Irish boozer

Springfield is celebrating St Patrick's Day in the latest update to The Simpsons: Tapped Out, which is now available on iOS and Android.

In honour of Ireland's patron saint, EA Mobile has added that most essential of St Patrick's Day venues: an Irish pub.

Before you start downing pints like they were Shamrock Shakes, however, you'll need to take care of a few new missions.

You see, the proprietor of this fine drinking establishment, Tom O'Flanagan, requires some assistance to ensure that the good townsfolk make his pub one of their regular haunts.

To be sure

If the pub's resident Leprechaun isn't enough of a draw (yes, The Simpsons: Tapped Out now has its own Irish fairy), then you can try to coax Springfield residents into the St Patrick's Day spirit with a few new decorations.

After all, who can resist the Celtic charm of a Wishing Well or a Shamrock Topiary?

The Simpsons: Tapped Out's St Patrick's Day update is ready to download on iOS and Android right now.
