The Silent Age: Episode Two appears on iOS and Android, wearing clothes that won't be invented for another 30 years...
We have to go back
House on Fire has finally launched the second (and last) episode of its well-loved, time-travelling adventure game, The Silent Age.
It's available as an in-app purchase inside the first game, on both iOS and Android, and costs £2.99 / $4.99.
If you missed the first game, it was about a humble janitor with a glorious moustache, who got his hands on a portable time machine and was dragged into a plot to save the world from destruction.
By pressing his pocket chrono-bender he could jump from the groovy 1970s to a post-apocalyptic 2012. The environment would change to reflect four decades of ruin and decay.
This sequel uses the same concept, which helps you solve puzzles while on your quest to help a clever clogs scientist bloke stop whatever caused the incoming calamity.
We've got a video up top and a review coming soon (tl;dr - worthy follow up, but squanders its potential). We'll also have a full walkthrough for every puzzle later today.
