Strategy RPG Terra Battle will be getting an online co-op battle mode soon
Mistwalker has announced that its free to play strategy RPG Terra Battle will be getting an online co-op battle mode in the near future.
Yep, you'll be able to team up with other players in the Friend Room. If you beat a stage together you'll each earn one "Energy".
You'll also be able to take on the Story mode and co-op specific dungeons together. Taking on these co-op dungeons gives you the chance to earn summons.
"During their friend's turn, the other player can tap the screen to fill out their Summon gauge; once full, they can activate their summoned monster during their next turn," Mistwalker revealed.
If you collect enough special items you can also level up these summons to make them more powerful.
In the same update, new adventurers will be added to the game. We have no details on them yet other than that they were designed by Terra Battle illustrator Kimihiko Fujisaka.
Lastly, Terra Battle has now reached over 1.5 million downloads, which means even more content will be added as part of its Download Starter.Final Fantasy character designer and illustrator Yoshitaka Amano will be creating more adventurers for the game. And a new story scenario by Yasumi Matsuno, designer of Final Fantasy XII and Vagrant Story, is on its way.
