Final Fantasy creator unveils his upcoming F2P RPG Terra Battle for iOS and Android

Yesterday, at Japan Expo in Paris, creator of Final Fantasy Hironobu Sakaguchi unveiled his new free-to-play RPG called Terra Battle for iOS and Android.

It's currently in development over at Sakaguchi's new studio Mistwalker.

The plan is to release Terra Battle simultaneously on iOS and Android in Japan in September 2014. There's no word as to whether it will come be released in the US and Europe as of yet.

However, we do have some hope of that possibility as the game's website is available in Japanese and English. That's usually a good sign.

There are no details about how Terra Battle will play as of yet. But there is an illustration in our "Screens" tab at the top that shows off a bunch of characters from the game.
