UK developer offers money-back guarantee to publishers
Hire TAG Games, and get cash back if they mess up
UK-based developer TAG Games has announced a new money-back guarantee scheme for its publisher and brand-owner partners.
It applies for all the firm's J2ME, BREW, iPhone, BlackBerry and smartphone projects, and the company says it uses an objective scoring system based on pre-defined delivery objectives as well as external game analysis.
The developer hopes it'll reduce the risk factor for publishers and IP-owners in working with TAG, especially those who haven't yet dipped their toes in the mobile gaming waters.
It's a bold move for the company, which has been growing fast recently. TAG has tripled its headcount in the last year, raised investment, and got approval as a DS and Wii developer alongside its existing mobile platforms.
