Really Long Birds, Aiyra and PID Games have officially announced the launch of Tacape, letting players experience a charming new deck-builder card game on iOS and Android. The game features engaging roguelite elements as well as strategic combat across varied cards and mystical creatures.

In Tacape, players can look forward to diving into the story of Lorena on her quest to save her brother as she explores the depths of a mysterious forest and its inhabitants. Players will also uncover the narrative from Lucas' point of view as he fights to return to his sister.

There are more than 100 cards to tinker around with, as well as over 25 enemies to beat across 4 playable areas. The game boasts upgradable cards and a compelling roguelite gameplay mechanic as well, where starting over from scratch arms you with a better knowledge to take on the next run with more confidence.

The title will also put your tactical prowess to the test as enemies can switch up their behaviours to keep you on your toes. Thankfully, you can buy cards at the shop and acquire new abilities to boost your survivability, as well as heal yourself for a while at the campfire for a quick breather.

If you're keen on giving the game a go for yourself, you can now download Tacape on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a free-to-try game with an in-app purchase that lets you unlock the full game. You can also take a little sneak peek at the embedded clip above to get a feel of the game's vibes.
