Probable 3DS launch title Super Monkey Ball 3D got itself an official website today.

The site gives away a few details on the upcoming monkey-rolling funfest, which is set to launch in the spring.

There are three modes of play listed.

Single-player Monkey Ball mode makes a return, seeing you tilt your way through perilous courses collecting bananas.

Monkey Race serves up 1-4 player kart racing, complete with items to fire at opponents, and Monkey Fight sees you battling oponent’s for their precious bananas.

The standard foursome of characters from previous Monkey Ball titles will make a return and, tantalisingly, there are also four slots for secret characters.

Super Monkey Ball 3D is the first of six 3DS titles Sega plans to launch in 2011. The other five remain a mystery for now, although quick glance at the 3DS release schedule lists the ambiguously titled Sonic as one of them.

More news as it comes.
