Starfox 64 3D has no online multiplayer

Details about of the upcoming Starfox 64 3D were revealed yesterday at a Nintendo retailer briefing in Japan.

A retailer who was attending the event decided to throw all the details onto Twitter, and Andriasang has helpfully translated them for us.

The game will come with three separate modes - 3DS, N64, and Battle. 3DS mode will see you tilting the console to control your Arwing, while N64 mode is the classic version, controlled via the Circle Pad.

Battle mode returns from the N64 version, and supports up to four players wirelessly, with your Mii shown above your Arwing so players can determine who's who. Unfortunately, there's no online play.

The game is due for release in Japan on July 14th, although there's still no release date for the US or Europe. Hopefully we'll hear word soon.
