Star Control-esque futuristic turn-based game Star Hammer Tactics battling onto iPad next month

Released on the Minis section of PSN in 2010, Black Lab Games's intergalactic turn-based strategy game Star Hammer Tactics will land on iPad next month.

In this fast-paced tactical battle title, you play the part of a naval strike commander, who is tasked with defending the planet Novus from an alien race known as the Nautilids.

You can challenge the AI in single-player campaign mode across 15 different scenarios, or go fleet-to-fleet against a buddy in the pass-the-handset mode.

Fix me up

Achievement junkies can get their fix via Game Center, while online leaderboards should bring out the competitive element in everybody else.

No news on the price of Star Hammer Tactics for iPad as yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you updated. The game itself will touch down on the App Store next month.
