Yesterday, Hutch's World's Wildest Police Videos-inspired game Smash Cops sped onto the iPhone and iPad, complete with flashing blue lights and disdain for law-breakers.

Unfortunately, the developer has experienced some kind of admin issue with the game, and has subsequently removed its frantic chase-'em-up from the App Store.

"Hutch is disappointed to announce that Smash Cops has temporarily been withdrawn from sale in the App Store," the developer said.

"This is due to an unforeseen administrative problem. Before our transgression was detected we were briefly on sale in the Southern hemisphere and 5000 lucky gamers did get hold of the game before it was withdrawn."

Hutch has promised, though, that it will get its forms "straightened out" and have Smash Cops back on the App Store from January 19th.
