Rush Rally 3 gets enhanced visuals and a classic car expansion pack
A top-tier racer gets even better
Rush Rally 3 has now received a bumper update that introduces higher resolution textures for its vast selection of cars, enhanced graphical options, minor fixes for low-memory devices, and an all-new classic car expansion pack. The update's arrival was first spotted by Touch Arcade.
If you're yet to give this one a go, it's a hugely impressive, content-packed racer, easily one of the best available for mobile. It also hit Switch late last year, instantly becoming one of the most solid games of its type on that platform, too.
The classic car expansion is, as you might have guessed, a paid expansion. It's priced at $2.99, which seems reasonable. The enhanced visuals are definitely a nice plus, and you can see just how much they've improved since launch in the screenshots above.
Old Deputy Ed Harry reviewed the iOS version at launch, calling it "a filth-coated thrash and a brilliantly balanced racer all in one", before awarding it an impressive Gold Rating. Basically, it's perfectly pitched between an arcade racer and a hardcore sim, and the significant post-launch support is just the cherry on top.
Brownmonster's Rush Rally 3 is available for purchase now from both the App Store and Google Play. It's a premium title priced at $4.99, and I can tell you right now that that's a steal if you're a fan of the genre. The Nintendo Switch port, available on the eShop, will set you back $14.99.
