Rigid Force Redux, the critically acclaimed shoot 'em up, is coming to Android soon

Headup and com8com1 Software are the two behind the critically acclaimed shoot 'em up Rigid Force Redux, which has been available on PC, consoles, and Nintendo Switch for a while now. After a bunch of positive reviews, the developers are now tapping into the mobile market as the game is launching soon. Rigid Force Redux is launching on Android on August 11th.

Rigid Force Redux takes place on the planet Therra where the players are part of the United Planet Freedom Forces, a military space organisation fleet. Players must engage in combat missions which involve them protecting allied planets using an AI called PSYE, which belongs to Rigid Force Alpha. PSYE plays the role of an advisor who will help throughout the journey where they will take part in various modes like the Arcade, Boss Rush Modes, and more.

The game features an awesome soundtrack, with visually breathtaking environments, and uber cool 3D models. As players progress through the game, they will unlock upgrades for their weapons and use Force Shards to deal massive damage to the enemies. Gunships, lasers, giant aliens, and so much more is waiting and players will have to come up with unique and challenging ways to fight everything.

Speaking of the excitement surrounding the mobile port, Marcel Rebenstorf, founder of com8com1 Software, said: “After the phenomenal response from the media and players about the initial release of Rigid Force Redux, we are very excited to announce that we are bringing the title to Android. We are certain you are going to have fun with countless hours of shooting action!”
