Sim City meets The Walking Dead in Sarah Northway's new Rebuild: Gangs of Deadville Kickstarter project
Munch on this
The only groaning I want to hear after the announcement of Sarah Northway's new zomb-pocalypse strategy game Rebuild: Gangs of Deadsville is from the zombies themselves.
That's right - another Rebuild is on the way.
'Another what?' you say. You don't remember the Bronze Award-winning Rebuild, huh? Is something chewing on your brain?
Anyway. According to Northway, Rebuild: Gangs of Deadsville is going to be "more epic" than the last one.
Northway's looking to raise $25,000 on Kickstarter to kit out the game, which is about halfway done so far. She's hired two artists and a writer this time around, too.
The elevator pitch for Rebuild: Gangs of Deadsville is "Sim City meets The Walking Dead".
So, yes, you can expect a survivor's story; some resource and morale management; wild dogs; weird cultists; factions; fort politics; and plenty of other features.
The plan is to develop iOS and Android versions of Rebuild: Gangs of Deadsville, though Northway is also working on a desktop edition.
If you fancy donating some wonga to Northway, head on over to the Rebuild: Gangs of Deadsville page now. And stop groaning.
