Oh, what a complicated life we live.

It was only last week that we were lamenting the fact that the European launch of Rayman Legends for PS Vita had been delayed until September 13th.

We wailed and gnashed our teeth after we were told by Ubisoft that the game had been pushed back in Europe "in order to apply the final level of polish gamers expect from a Rayman game".

Well, we have stopped wailing. And we have stopped gnashing our teeth.

That's because Rayman Legends is available right now on the PS Vita in Europe. Yep, a full week before it should have been. Colour us gobsmacked.

To prove it, I've embedded a screen grab of the game's page on the PSN up there. Rayman Legends costs £29.99, and it's definitely available. Providence has smiled on us all today.

If you don't like buying things digitally, UK retailers are selling Rayman Legends, too. At least, the online ones are (it's far too hot to go outside and check our local gaming emporiums to see if they've got copies of the game).

Our review of the game went up earlier today. We gave it a Silver Award, and said that "while the Vita version of Rayman Legends is inferior to the rest, it's still a highly enjoyable platforming romp."
