E3 2011: Telltale’s Puzzle Agent 2 set for iPhone and iPad release on June 30th
Take the Tethers with you
FBI Agent Nelson Tethers is set to return to the snowy town of Scoggins in the sequel to one of the best point-and-click adventures on the App Store. Telltale Games has just confirmed that Puzzle Agent 2 will be released for iPhone and iPad on June 30th.
The first game – a quirky adventure-puzzler based on characters developed by comic artist Graham Annable - saw Tethers investigate the case of the Scoggins Eraser Factory.
This follow-up picks up where its predecessor left off, as our unusual hero looks into the unsolved mysteries he left behind in the sleepy Minnesotan hamlet.
Puzzle Agent is the first success story of Telltale’s Pilot Program: an experimental idea designed to showcase new IP, with successful titles further expanded into full series via the publisher’s now-familiar episodic approach.
To celebrate the release of the sequel, Telltale has slashed the price of the original Puzzle Agent to just 59p / 99c / €0.79 on iPhone, and to £1.79 / $2.99 / €2.39 for the HD edition on iPad.
