Pro Evolution Soccer slips to 2008 on DS
The footy game shoots wide of its November release date
Bad news for anyone hoping for a Christmas kickabout on their Nintendo handheld. The latest instalment of, arguably, the king of footy games, Pro Evolution Soccer 2008, has suffered a setback on DS.
The home console versions of the game were released in October, and it was expected the DS equivalent would follow shortly afterwards, at some point in November. But it's now looking like we won't be getting it until January 2008.
Whether that's so the release coincides with Pro Evo 2008 on Wii, which has always been down for a vague 2008 release, we're not sure. Equally, we don't know if the PSP edition (also expected this month) is similarly affected. But we'll keep you posted on an exact date as soon as we get one.
