When it comes to rebuilding the world, a lot of people think it's pretty easy. Well, it wouldn't actually be that simple to restore humanity after a catastrophic nuclear exchange, but one can dream. And if you're looking to have a go yourself, why not try out the newly-released Post Apo Tycoon and put your skills to the test?
In Post Apo Tycoon you awake to find the world destroyed, and you its only hope of restoration. Unlike Frostpunk: Beyond the Ice however, you're fortunately in for a bit more of a relaxing time as you slowly restore the environment, expand your infrastructure and build yourself up from a tiny shelter and into a thriving city.
But what exactly happened to wreck the world? Nuclear exchange? The ravages of climate change, or something more sinister? Well as you restore the world you'll also get the chance to figure out just what ended the world in the first place.
It's admittedly a bit odd to find a game that sells itself on being a post-apocalyptic experience where you're restoring the world, and calling that relaxing. But in fairness I can think of a number of dramatically less relaxing things to do with my spare time than replanting forests and creating roads, and if there's anything Death Stranding taught me, it's that this is a weirdly prevalent means of chilling out.
