Planes Control introduces a new challenging stage to celebrate the holidays

Rarepixels has updated their lovely little indie management simulation game Planes Control, bringing in a brand new snowy theme, some exciting new challenges, and even Santa Claus himself!

In Planes Control, you take on the role of an ACT (Air Traffic Controller), attempting to manage numerous lines of plane traffic as you attempt to make sure nobody hits one another and everyone makes it where they need to go both on time and without issue.

With this new update, a new level has been introduced into the mix that features some horribly inclement weather, with wind and snowstorms galore. But that’s the least of your worries, as the real problem is managing the path of Santa Claus himself, making sure he doesn’t get in the way of your planes and jets and helicopters on his path to deliver presents to all. After all, who wants to be the guy who takes out Santa?

That weather itself will introduce a new gameplay mechanic that will become quite hectic, as the snow and wind will take out certain paths that you could typically lead your vehicles on, rendering them unusable for some time.

Santa, on the other hand, will be represented by a red dotted line that will sometimes overlap with your other paths, creating a very hectic and chaotic environment that will require quick reflexes to keep track of. You’ll have to adjust the paths of your planes and sometimes take the longer routes in order to not get in his way.

This new update and stage will last for a few weeks, so don’t miss out on the chance to challenge your Planes Control skills to their limit! If you’d like to give this new stage a go yourself, you can download Planes Control for free at either of the links below!
