Out There: Supercell turns Supercycle as studio treats staff to bikes
|

One of the benefits of a studio keeping its staff base tight rather than watching it escalate into the thousands is the ability to treat employees en masse without costs running into the millions.

According to our sources, that's why Supercell – the developer, as you're no doubt aware, behind Clash of Clans and Hay Day – has been able to tool its work base up with a batch of bikes.

Spinning around

We're told said cycles were handed out after the studio's near week-long team building exercise in Barcelona.

Indeed, as the video below from Supercell's Facebook attests, they're already putting the bikes to good use:

The firm's 'away day' came as it unveiled a new partnership with ridiculously successful Puzzle & Dragons developer GungHo that will see the two parties 'mash up' their IP in a bid to cross-promote their games during a two week period.

Nice to see the team are all adorning helmets and ready to take on the busy streets of Helsinki without fearing any crash of clans.

(Yes, that was a terrible pun, but you can let us off just this once.)
