iPhone and iPad hit Osmos reduced to 59p in special one day only equinox sale

Physics-based eat-'em-up and former iPad Game of the Year winner Osmos, has been reduced to just 59p/99c in celebration of the vernal equinox.

Your goal as an orb in Osmos is to grow by absorbing smaller orbs and then expel the mass you gain in order to propel yourself towards a series of exits. It takes place in various 'playgrounds', solar systems, and petri dishes. En route to completion you'll encounter four unique intelligent opponents with abilities similar to your own.

Osmos contains two game modes – Odyssey and Arcade. The former allows you to play through a 27-level guided tour of the Blobiverse, with the latter offering 72 levels of action at various difficulty levels. Game Center and OpenFeint provide achievements.

At review, both versions of the game – iPhone and iPad – received prestigious Silver Awards for their innovative gameplay.
