A brand new puzzle game developed by solo developer Kofiro, otherwise known as Kofi Austin from West Africa, has released his latest project; a logic-based puzzler called Only One that revolves entirely around the concept of the number 1. These puzzles range from mundane to very creative and extremely complex, and it’s clear Kofiro took a lot of inspiration from games like HOOK or PUSH, taking a one-word concept and making it into an entire puzzle game.

As for what you’ll actually be doing in Only One, it gets a bit weirder. Some of the puzzles will stay fairly easy, things like resetting a screen of multiple colours to be one single colour, or combining multiple pieces of one piece of an image to create that singular piece. The puzzles get far more complex as time goes on, but no matter what, the clues you need to solve whatever the puzzle may be will always be there, even if they’re quite hidden.

Clearly, with the idea of clues being part of the game, this is a very logic-oriented puzzler. It’ll require a lot of tapping around your screen to find solutions, and will almost assuredly lead to some hair loss by the end, but if you’re a true puzzle game fan, that may make it even more appealing. Only One is certainly going to be a challenge with such a unique concept, so it’ll be interesting to see exactly how engaging and fresh the idea of using said concept will remain for the duration of the title.

If you’re looking to give it a go yourself and see if you can crack these levels, you can purchase Only One for the low price of $1.99 on the App Store and Google Play, so get ready to test your logical deduction and probably fry your brain in the process.
