Although Playdead's popular puzzle-platformer Limbo is available to download from the Mac App Store, it's yet to make its way to Apple's mobile App Store.

If you're looking for an alternative, you should check out Nihilumbra, which can be downloaded for the iPhone and iPad for £1.99 / $2.99.

In it, you play as Born - a shadowy figure who was born from "absolute nothingness". Your aim is to traverse five distinct worlds, while learning how to use different colours to alter the physics around you.

Said colours also come in handy for dispatching monsters and staying ahead of the void that constantly follows you throughout your travels.

Nihilumbra, which is said to boast around ten hours of gameplay, can be downloaded for £1.99 / $2.99 by hitting the button below the vid.
