DS Silver parts the retail waves for Zelda Phantom Hourglass
The next eight days in handheld games
Even the most ardent PSP supporter would have to concede that the gaming community's focus over the next week or so is going to be entirely on Nintendo's dual-screened wonder. And rightly so.
Granted, we're not about to sell any major organs in order to get our hands on the silver edition of the DS, out this week, but as an opening act for one of the most anticipated titles since the format's arrival on the handheld scene, it certainly does the trick.
Next Friday, then, comes the main event: The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (which, for the record, we'd consider handing over two kidneys to secure an early copy, were it not for the fact that we wouldn't be alive long enough to tap our way past the title screen). As the latest instalment in one of Nintendo's leading franchises, only the very brave or very foolish will dare sit alongside it on shop shelves.
