Bionic Commando: Rearmed to play on PSP
You've got Remote Play to thank
Those of you old enough to remember classic platform shooter Bionic Commando will no doubt be aware the franchise is being dusted off and redeveloped for a PlayStation 3 outing (as well as Xbox 360 and PC).
At this stage, we don't know how well that venture will turn out but we do know that you'll be able to play the game on PSP, via the PS3's Remote Play option. A Capcom producer has confirmed as much to MTV Multiplayer.
What this means, then, is that you get to play the game on your handheld while parading around your house (or garden, depending on the range of your wireless network) in your pants.
The Remote Play feature was first used last year in Lair, with limited success given that the game's controls didn't perfectly map onto the PSP's more limited button selection (in relation to the PS3's joypad).
We've heard nothing since, though, so it's good to come across another publisher giving this potentially great feature a try. Let's hope Capcom gets it right, eh?
