It's been out since January on Steam, but now everyone's favourite twin-stick shooter, Neon Chrome, has just gotten its Arena DLC update on iOS.

The Arena DLC is an arena-like survival game mode with GameCentre online leaderboards. Still set in the same dystopian future, the aim of the game is to survive as long as you can against a barrage of oncoming enemies. The longer you last, the higher your score will be.

Within it, there'll be five possible roles to choose from, each of which has its own leaderboard to climb. You'll be able to install 12 enhancements, unlock weapons in the main game (to then use in Arena), and upgrade your weapons to bring maximum damage.

If you own the base game already - which is currently £2.99/$2.99 on the App Store - you can grab the DLC for £2.29/$2.29 for the first week. Afterwards, it'll be £3.49/$3.49.
