[Update] Solve a big mystery in Little Riddle with Blue Toad Murder Files
Updated on April 10th, at 15:14: We've just heard from Blue Toad Murder Files developer Relentless Software that this initial iOS release will contain three of the six episodes that made up the console series.

The team is currently working on the fourth episode.

Original story follows...

As we suspected it might, Relentless Software's murder mystery series Blue Toad Murder Files is set to hop onto the App Store at midnight tonight.

Originally released in episodic fashion on PSN from December 2009, Blue Toad Murder Files is, to all intents, an interactive episode of Miss Marple.

In the game, you assume the role of a detective visiting the seemingly sleepy village of Little Riddle.

Before you can say 'whodunnit?', however, the pleasantries are over and the body count starts to rise.

Naturally, as the new investigator in town, it's up to you to get to the bottom of these grisly murders.

The console version of Blue Toad Murder Files comprised six chapters, each with its own mystery.

Though we're not exactly sure how much of the original content has survived the journey over to iOS, we do know that the App Store port contains over three hours of gameplay.

During that time, you'll face a total of 36 logic puzzles and conduct multiple interrogations, all underpinned by the series's trademark humour and visual charm.

You will be able to download Blue Toad Murder Files on iPhone and iPad from midnight tonight. It'll set you back £1.99 / $2.99.
