Following on from Japanese magazine Famitsu's report on the return of LocoRoco, Sony has officially released a handful of E3 screens to whet our wonderfully weird PSP puzzler appetites.

At first glance, the sequel's screenshot appear to be in much the same vein as the original, though LocoRoco did feature particularly stylised graphics and gameplay, so any excessive deviation would suggest an unacceptable change in alternative puzzler mechanics.

It's been almost two years since LocoRoco bagged itself a shiny Pocket Gamer Gold Award, so these new screens point towards one of our more exciting choices of E3 2008.

Trust us, if you own a PSP you'll want to be hitting 'Track It!' now.
