A game that sees North Korean leader Kim Jong-un riding on the back of a missile, bound for the west, has arrived on the App Store unscathed - despite an initial rejection by Apple.

Mike Pagano from developer Built Games previously told us that Apple had rejected Little Dictator because it was "defamatory, offensive, or mean-spirited". He appealed against the ban, saying the game was satirical and lighthearted.

The game got through and is now available on the App Store. Pagano says "nothing in the game was changed from the Android version" to appease Apple's prudish review board.

The game itself isn't anything special. It's basically just Flappy Bird with a cartoon rendition of chubby little Kim awkwardly floating between missile silos. But hey, it's a good day for satire, and a handy precedent for future rejected games.
