There's a LEGO Batman in the mobile belfry

Block-built Bruce Wayne braced to break out of the Bat Cave

There's a LEGO Batman in the mobile belfry

LEGO Batman's gone down pretty well on most formats so it's agreeable to hear our good friends over at Studio X (the publishing arm of the Player X studio) have teamed up with developer CobraMobile to bring the brick-built Dark Knight to the mobile platform.

"We are delighted to be working with TT Games on one of the best-selling console games in the world. The LEGO brand has consistently delivered quality gameplay to a huge installed base of gamers and we are convinced we will replicate this success with the mobile game version," said Tony Pearce, Player X CEO.

Featuring context-sensitive one thumb controls, LEGO Batman: The Mobile Game will let you swing around Gotham City and take out six super-criminals who are trying to take the city apart piece by piece.

Launch a Batarang into the 'Track It!' button for news of our imminent review.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
