Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?: Battle Chronicle, a brand new action RPG adaptation of the popular anime series, reveals some details with a new trailer

Developer Aiming Co. has released the first trailer for their upcoming mobile RPG adaptation of the popular anime series Danmachi, otherwise known as Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? This adaptation, appropriately titled Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon: Battle Chronicle, seeks to retell the story of the game in an engaging action RPG format of gameplay.
Danmachi is an interesting anime, as its success was a bit of an anomaly given the genre it falls within. Anime is very keen on stories that take place within a high fantasy universe with a prophesied protagonist who is bound to save the world, and Danmachi is no different.

Where it does differ, however, is in how loveable its cast is. The characters within the show are beloved amongst pretty much all anime spheres, specifically the primary love interest Hestia, who I’m sure you’ve seen somewhere if you circulate this sort of thing.
As for Battle Chronicle, we don’t have a ton to work off of given how fresh this announcement is, but the trailer does offer a look at the gorgeous 3D visuals and some glimpses of the action combat that you’ll take part in.
Story-wise, Battle Chronicle is looking to retell certain parts of the original light novel series, which was also adapted within the anime series. So whether you’ve watched the anime or read the novels, you’ll recognize a lot of what’s going on here.
Whether you're a fan of the series itself or someone looking to dig their teeth into an engaging mobile action RPG set in a beautiful high fantasy anime world, this is the one for you. Currently, there’s no pre-order or pre-register available, but you can check out the official website for more information in the meantime!
