Fourth-gen iPod touch only?

Chinese forum WeiPhone.com has posted a bunch of links to an iOS 6 beta and some other software that Apple will showcase at this year's Worldwide Developers Conference.

The links to Apple's website don't currently work, but the same website correctly leaked similar software links last year, which all turned out to be correct. You can probably put that big bag of salt back in the cupboard, then.

Unfortunately, there aren't any links to these software builds for Apple's first-generation iPad, which probably means the ageing tablet won't be getting the Cupertino company's latest mobile software.

Strangely, it looks like the iPhone 3GS will be supported, which packs an older processor than the iPad. It also appears that only the fourth-gen iPod touch will be supported, in spite of Apple's third-gen MP3 player housing a better processor than the iPhone 3GS.
