We liked iBlast Moki. Everybody liked iBlast Moki. With its charming LocoRoco-esque presentation, solid physics, and inventive gameplay it embodied the then-nascent spirit of iPhone gaming.

And now, almost two years after iBlast Moki arrived, developer Godzilab has revealed that iBlast Moki 2 is on its way to iOS.

The studio hasn't divulged any gameplay details, but it's pretty likely that it'll involve propelling a spherical creature called a Moki into a portal using timed explosions.

Writing on its Facebook page, Godzilab has revealed that iBlast Moki 2 will run at 60fps rather than 30 (“It feels so much better, everything is so smooth and reacts immediately”). It should be available for iPhone and iPad in July or August.
