I Love Katamari goes on sale on iPhone

An iPhone edition of the magically adhesive sphere-rolling trash collection simulator, or Katamari Damacy to be specific, has gone on sale.

I Love Katamari squeezes all the fun of rolling a giant ball over an unsuspecting cow onto your pintsize pocket device, allowing you to roll up a snowball of junk anywhere you go.

If you’ve never played the game before, you simply tilt your iPhone to push the gigantic ball, which gobbles up garbage smaller than you. Build up your ball, and then hunt down larger trash to make the biggest Katamari possible.

Not only does the game feature a full Story mode, a Time Attack mode, a challenge to roll Katamaris to the exact target size, and a relaxing time-limit-free Eternal mode, it also features Game Center achievements and leaderboards.

The game is now on sale, dropping in price from £2.99 to a more palatable £1.79 / $2.99 / €2.39.
