Turn-based iOS strategy-RPG Hunters: Episode One blasts onto Android

Rodeo Games has finally brought its Bronze Award-winning iPhone and iPad strategy-RPG Hunters: Episode One to Google Play.

Hunters: Episode One is a turn-based strategy game similar to Square Enix's Final Fantasy Tactics series and the über-popular X-COM.

In Rodeo Games's title, you take control of a customisable team of hardened mercenaries, and complete jobs (called contracts) across the universe in order to become the most badass bounty hunters in the entire galaxy.

You'll receive new contracts every single day and will have 24 real-world hours to take down your target and complete your missions.

The money you earn as you complete jobs can be spent on new weapons, armours, and equipment from the in-game store, which is restocked with new goodies every hour.

At review, we said that the iOS version of Hunters: Episode One features "solid, in-depth turn-based tactical gameplay". You can't say fairer than that, really.

If this instalment does well, Rodeo Games will hopefully release the Silver Award-winning Hunters 2 on Android, as well.

In the meantime, grab Hunters: Episode One for £2.99 / $4.99.
