Nintendo takes over distribution and sales of Heroes of Ruin in Europe
Still on for June 15th release date
Nintendo has confirmed that it will be the company distributing upcoming 3DS dungeon-crawler Heroes of Ruin in Europe.
Previously, the game had been solely in the hands of Square Enix. The company behind Final Fantasy will continue to act as publisher for the upcoming title.
Heroes of Ruin sees you crawling (not literally) through randomly generated dungeons in a co-op centric action-RPG.
Taking the role of a variety of archetypes (including the ranged Gunslinger and frenzied melee Savage), you have to explore and defeat hordes of three-dimensional monsters for tasty, tasty loot.
The game is apparently a GAME exclusive in the UK, although pre-order pages still exist on other retailer's websites, including Play.com. It's not yet known whether this new Nintendo deal will mean that rumoured exclusivity is rendered null and void.
What is certain, however, is that Heroes of Ruin will land in shops across Europe on June 15th.
