Game Snacks to offer cult titles ad free

Due, we're assured, to overwhelming popularity, several Game Snacks titles – including Head on a Stick, Falling Heads and Ark-Annoyed – are now to be made available without advertisements. There is a snag, in that in the absence of adverts the games will sell for a small fee, but that doesn't matter because all of the Game Snacks titles will still be available for free at Gamejump.
Basically, if you download a Game Snacks title from Gamejump for free but find you simply can't endure the ads, you can nip over to the Game Snacks site where you can grab yourself an ad free copy. So everyone's a winner.
News of this extra level of choice is welcome enough, but it has raised a few eyebrows around the Pocket Gamer water cooler. The move carries a faint odour of market research; if Game Snacks finds that the ad free versions are favoured by the mobile gaming contingent, we wonder if there's a chance that future off-the-wall Game Snacks offerings will only be available at a price and without ads.
